Job Description
  1. Set up CNC machines (lathe, milling, or VMC) as per job specifications.
  2. Install and adjust tools, fixtures, and workpieces accurately.
  3. Load CNC programs and verify machine settings.
  4. Operate machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings.
  5. Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments for accuracy.
  6. Inspect components using measuring instruments (micrometer, vernier caliper, height gauge, etc.).
  7. Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per standards.
  8. Perform minor maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of machines.
  9. Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize process efficiency.
  10. Maintain production and inspection records.
  11. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
