Job Description
  1. Develop 2D and 3D designs of components and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, Creo)
  2. Prepare engineering drawings and specifications in compliance with standards
  3. Apply GD&T, tolerances, and material selection for mechanical components
  4. Conduct FEA / stress analysis to validate design performance
  5. Optimize designs for cost, weight, strength, and manufacturability
  6. Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams for prototype and product development
  7. Design fixtures, jigs, and tooling as needed
  8. Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) and documentation for production
  9. Support product testing, validation, and troubleshooting
  10. Suggest improvements in existing products through reverse engineering
