Job Description

Set up and operate gear grinding machines (manual or CNC).
Read and interpret engineering drawings, gear charts, and process sheets.
Select and install appropriate grinding wheels, fixtures, and tools.
Monitor machine operation, adjust feeds, speeds, and grinding depth to ensure precision.
Inspect finished gears using micrometers, gear tooth verniers, dial gauges, and other precision instruments.
Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines.
Maintain production logs and inspection records.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Troubleshoot machine or process issues to maintain production efficiency.
