Job Description
  1. Lead and supervise the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) department for casting, welding, fabrication, and machined components.
  2. Plan, schedule, and allocate NDT activities (UT, RT, MPI, DPI, ECT) as per production and quality requirements.
  3. Ensure inspection processes are carried out according to industry standards (ASME, ASTM, ISO, EN, API).
  4. Review NDT reports, ensure documentation accuracy, and maintain proper records.
  5. Conduct interpretation and evaluation of test results to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  6. Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams for timely testing and defect resolution.
  7. Ensure calibration and maintenance of all NDT equipment.
  8. Train and guide NDT technicians/operators on testing procedures and safety requirements.
  9. Lead root-cause analysis activities for recurring defects (welding/casting/machining).
  10. Prepare and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for NDT operations.
  11. Ensure compliance with customer specifications and support third-party inspections.
  12. Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe inspection environment.
