Job Description
  1. Operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) for milling, drilling, and finishing operations.
  2. Set up machines, load tools, fixtures, and workpieces as per job specifications.
  3. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job sheets.
  4. Monitor machining operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to tolerances.
  5. Adjust machine parameters, feeds, and speeds to optimize production.
  6. Measure and inspect components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and other precision instruments.
  7. Maintain production records, report machine errors, and document inspection results.
  8. Perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of machines.
  9. Follow safety guidelines and maintain 5S in the work area.
  10. Collaborate with production planning and quality teams for smooth workflow.
