Job Description
  1. Perform visual and dimensional inspection of machined components
  2. Check parts as per engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerance standards
  3. Conduct in-process, first piece (FAI), and final inspection
  4. Coordinate CMM inspection and review CMM reports
  5. Identify machining defects like tool marks, burrs, chatter, wrong dimensions, taper, runout, etc.
  6. Prepare inspection reports, NCR, rejection analysis, and maintain documentation
  7. Verify calibration status of instruments and maintain records
  8. Ensure compliance with ISO/QMS/5S standards and SOPs
  9. Communicate quality issues to production supervisors and ensure corrective actions
  10. Monitor machining processes for quality consistency
  11. Support root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement activities
