Job Description
  1. Perform in-process and final inspection of machined components on the production line.
  2. Check dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, etc.
  3. Verify components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
  4. Identify defects in machining (surface finish, burrs, tool marks, dimensions, concentricity, etc.).
  5. Record inspection results and maintain proper documentation/reporting.
  6. Ensure parts comply with quality standards and reject non-conforming items.
  7. Coordinate with machine operators and production team to resolve quality issues.
  8. Assist in root cause analysis for recurring quality problems.
  9. Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and maintain 5S in the inspection area.
  10. Support quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
